Family-owned since 1935, Korger's Furniture & Decorating has been a trusted name in the Chippewa Valley. We've built our business on quality products, expert guidance, and lasting relationships. At Korgers, you'll always find brands you know and people you trust.
From chickens to decorating, the Korger family has evolved their retail store with the times.
Our story began when Austrian immigrant Heinrich (Henry) Korger opened a small farm store in downtown Chippewa Falls, selling chickens, eggs, seed, and farm implements. Our original store is the Farm Store building right next door where Max's Bistro and House Blend Lighting & Design are currently located.
As times changed, so did Korgers. Under the leadership of Henry's son Joseph and his wife, Lucille, the business shifted in the 1950s to focus on paint, wallcoverings, flooring, and custom draperies.
By 2004, the third generation — Gary, Tom, Carol, and Bill — expanded Korger's our current 25,000-square-foot building. We became the Western Wisconsin destination for top-quality brands in furniture, flooring, countertops, window treatments, accessories, paint, and stain.
Today, Korger's continues to evolve while staying true to the values that have guided us since the very beginning.
Our slogan, "Brands You Know, People You Trust," reflects exactly what you'll find when you walk through our doors. From La-Z-Boy furniture and Benjamin Moore Paints to Cambria countertops, Graber Blinds, and Mohawk Carpets, we carry the brands you rely on—backed by the friendly, knowledgeable service only a family-owned business can provide.
